Situation

The little village of Nisdorf is situated 17 km northwest of the town Stralsund on shore of the "Bodden". It is just about 200 m to a little haven where we have a few small boats for rent.

The family hotel Gut Nisdorf is an accurately refurbished historical manor house containing 12 comfortable apartments.

Garden and park

The manor house is in the middle of big garden of 25.000 m². In front of the house you see the lawn and the playground. In behind we have a garden for herbs and vegetables to enrich our kitchen.

Playground

Just below the big terrace the children reach the adventure and climbing playground with trampoline, bird's-nest-swing, ropebridge, slides and so on. And of course a sandbox and a paddling pool.

Horses

Behind the playground, there is the stable for the horses and the goats and the pasture. Here live our ponies "Farina" and "Sternchen" (means "starlet") and the goats "Ziege" and "Esmeralda".

Farina is the perfect pony for the children. The older kids will ride "Sternchen". Usually the children can ride two times a week. Sometimes even more often. Rinding lessons go extra.

Swimming pond

The natural swimming pond attracts beside the pasture. It is about 50 m long and 30 m wide - perfect for swimming and paddling.

The pond cleans itself naturally and biologically - without any chemicals. That's why you will find a lot of frogs, small fish, newts and even some grass snakes. They are very interesting to watch.
